we are seeking a highly skilled hr business partner with a specialization in payroll to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations while providing strategic hr support aligned with both local regulations and global standards.
role purpose
to provide end-to-end support in payroll administration and hr operations, ensuring full compliance with mexican labor and social security laws. This position requires strong english proficiency for global coordination, reporting, and documentation within a bilingual corporate environment.
key responsibilities
* oversee accurate and timely payroll processing (bi-weekly/monthly)
* manage employee movements - imss, idse, sua
* manage payroll and hr systems (tress)
* address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits
* ensure compliance with labor, tax, and audit requirements
* support leaders on workplace climate, employee relations, and organizational development initiatives
* prepare hr reports and documentation in english for corporate stakeholders
what we’re looking for
* bachelor’s degree in human resources, accounting, business administration, or related field
* minimum 3 years of experience in an hrbp or hr generalist role, with a strong payroll focus
* in-depth knowledge of mexican payroll legislation: imss, infonavit, fonacot
* proficient in payroll systems and platforms: tress, idse, sua
* advanced english (mandatory for reporting and global communications)
* experience working with erp/hris platforms
* strong excel skills (intermediate–advanced)
