position objective
responsible for designing, quoting, purchasing, validating and putting in place the right process, tools, fixtures, equipment and machines. your key responsibilities
* create a working environment that is clean, well‑organized and that prevents accidents and reduces safety risks for our team members.

* ensure that our equipment and tools maximize the va/nva ratio while taking into consideration our workers' reality and using top of the line technologies when needed.

* responsible for delivering assigned project activities on time by working closely with the npd/npi team where detecting roadblocks and reporting on them before mass production is a key responsibility.
* actively participate in developing and maintaining the fmea's to ensure implemented counter‑measures to the risks are properly documented in the engines assembly lines.
* help create a continuous improvement culture by using lean manufacturing principles and our brpms tools.
* ensure collaboration between the different departments by leading, developing and coaching his teammates to optimize safety, quality, productivity and cost in a fast pace environment.
* take care of the budget by always looking for more than 1 option to assure a quality product at the best price with the best delivery time.
* collaborate enthusiastically in promoting brp work culture daily by spreading a winning attitude and participating in the csr activities organized by the company.

we are currently seeking a talented mechanical engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be essential in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that projects meet both performance and quality standards.
general responsibilities
* responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability and quality of these systems through all phases of product development.
* will be focused on the trunk, tailgate, frunk systems with the following specific activities:
* design interiors commodities (instrument panel, door trim, seating, center console, sun visors, hard trim, soft trim, etc.).
* implement mounting systems, gd&t strategies and rib patterns.
* design and integration of additional kennels and features.
* perform load studies and interface analysis.
