Procurement manager rolethe ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing category strategic direction and management of the category under scope of responsibility.
this includes working with the global procurement team to implement category strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.key responsibilities:act as point of contact for internal or external stakeholders and determine global priorities for the category.ensure category, procurement and stakeholder team members adhere to procurement policies.develop global cost optimization strategies for the category.establish a method and monitor the execution of category activities.negotiate contracts with key oems and agreements.monitor category markets on an ongoing basis to identify and understand key players, new comers, economic evolutions, market or regulation constraints, innovations and technology in order to support the development of the most up to date category strategies for the business.report on monthly basis category spend results and execute procurement audits.this is a remote work opportunity that requires excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and problem-solving skills.
