Job description:
we are seeking a skilled laundry operations specialist to join our team.
* operate and monitor washing, drying, and dry cleaning machinery to ensure high-quality results.
* add chemicals and clean lint traps regularly to prevent damage and maintain cleanliness.
* inspect articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines for stains or damage, and take necessary actions for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
* place cleaned articles in clean linen carts efficiently.
* set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in each load to prevent damage.
* remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load to maintain equipment performance.
fold cleaned articles into designated sizes using folding machines or by hand, ensuring accuracy and neatness.
maintain accurate records of items laundered, including quantities and quality ratings.
ensure adherence to all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management immediately; complete required safety training and certifications.
