a day in the life...
we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented hr coordinator to join our hospitality team. In this role, the hr coordinator is responsible for assisting the hr leader with the h2b & j1 program summer season. Assist as needed with various tasks such as recruiting, hiring, training, and event planning. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-service focused, and familiar with hospitality. The ideal candidate is bilingual (english/spanish), is not afraid to speak in front of a crowd, and can maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations. This is a seasonal position until october 2026.
key accountabilities
* assist human resource manager with recruiting, onboarding, training, and event planning.
* coordinate the j1 international program, such as transportation, housing, and community outings.
* maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
* maintain accurate records and ensure compliance and legal requirements
* respond to team members and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
requirements
the ideal candidate will have:
* must be at least 18 years or old.
* must have a valid driver license.
* 1 year of human resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
* high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
* have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
* strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to seamlessly perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
* strong written and verbal communication skills
* knowledge in paylocity, e-verify, hotel effectiveness, and acamatica.
