Position: site facilities operations director location: mexico city, mexico fulltime key responsibilities 1. Facility operations & infrastructure management maintain and improve facility documentation, sops, work order systems, logs, and compliance records. Ensure the facility operates in alignment with service‑level expectations, energy efficiency targets, and reliability requirements. 2. Strategic planning & capital projects develop long‑range facility plans including modernization, upgrades, renovation projects, and space utilization strategies. Lead end‑to‑end execution of capital projects—scope, budget, vendor selection, construction oversight, commissioning, and turnover. 3. Vendor & contractor management manage external partners including maintenance providers, engineering firms, construction contractors, and specialty service vendors. Establish and enforce service‑level agreements (slas), performance metrics, and accountability frameworks. Negotiate contracts, scopes of work, and pricing to maximize value and ensure consistent service quality. 4. Safety, compliance & risk management be accountable for site operations, site culture, and adherence to all applicable mexican laws and regulations. Lead emergency preparedness planning including evacuation procedures, continuity planning, and critical system recovery. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; develop corrective actions where needed. Champion a workplace culture centered on safety, responsibility, and accountability. 5. Workplace services & customer experience oversee workplace services such as space management, office moves, ergonomic assessments, and general building support. Oversee all aspects of site operations, including budgeting, human resources, facilities, and it, with a focus on creating an efficient and supportive work environment for a growing team. Partner with security, it, hr, and business units to deliver a high‑quality employee workplace experience. Act as a primary contact for customer feedback, facility issues, and service‑related escalations. 6. Leadership & team development ensure team members receive training, development, and resources to operate effectively and safely. Coordinate staffing plans that support 24/7/365 operations (if applicable), emergency coverage, and strategic growth. Drive a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer focus. 7. Financial management develop and manage annual operating budgets for facilities, maintenance, utilities, and capital projects. Track expenditures, identify cost‑savings opportunities, and ensure strong financial stewardship. Qualifications required experience in large corporate campuses, technology centers, critical environments, or multi‑building portfolios.7–10 years of experience in facilities management, engineering, building operations, or related fields. Proven leadership experience managing teams, vendors, and complex facilities operations. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with senior leaders. Exceptional communication skills in english are required. Spanish fluency is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in a hybrid work environment is a plus. A passion for building on and nurturing a positive and inclusive office/site culture is essential. Experience creating and managing budgets, capital projects, and long‑term asset plans. Experience providing cross-functional support to talent, hr, and finance operations is considered a strong asset. Exposure to mexican labor law and local tax regulations is preferred.
