we are looking for a staff central supply chain logistics transportation and warehouse. This position is based in aguascalientes.

responsibilities
* oversee daily transportation operations for mexico plants and manage movements to meet cost, quality and delivery performance targets.
* act as a link between plants and 4pl partner; collaborate with carriers and internal teams to maintain smooth transportation flows.
* work daily with the 4pl partner and marelli plants; follow up on 4pl execution as planned and requested by plants.
* support internal customers (plants) with daily shipment situations and contingency plans for transportation disruptions.
* support administrative processes related to carriers (invoice audits, payments) and customs regulations.
* collaborate with regional teams to optimize route planning, route design, and cost efficiency.
* contribute to continuous improvement projects and warehouse handling/materials processes.
* monitor transportation kpi’s and warehouse kpi’s.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in logistics, international business administration, industrial engineering or related field.
* minimum 2 years of experience in scm logistics and transportation, preferably in a global organization.
* understanding of multimodal transportation (ground, sea, air) and international shipping documentation, including incoterms.
* analytical capability and advanced english (written and spoken).
* technical knowledge of management tools and systems (erp, wms, excel, data analysis).
* effective communication and ability to coordinate with purchasing, logistics, production, and other teams.
* result-oriented mindset, ability to work under pressure, and proactive team player.
* schedule availability (including weekends).
desirable skills
* customer service, empathy and positive attitude; communication skills; knowledge of customs clearance processes; microsoft office; general geography knowledge.

* support operational continuity; ensure the 4pl meets agreed schedules, routes and service levels; collaborate with commercial and operative areas.
* propose and support improvements to optimize transportation costs; assist plants in kpi achievement; maintain a constant flow of information with the 4pl.
