Position overview the quality department manager is responsible for leading all quality assurance and control activities, maintaining and improving the companys quality management system, and ensuring compliance with iatf 16949 and customer requirements. This role oversees both internal and external quality operations, including suppliers, production, and customers. Main responsibilities manage and continuously improve the quality management system (qms); coordinate internal and external audits. Supervise product quality planning (apqp) and ppap documentation to meet customer and regulatory standards. Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring product traceability and conformity. Lead process and product audits, handle non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution. Control and reduce cost of poor quality (copq) through data analysis and continuous improvement. Manage inspection equipment, calibration laboratory, and metrology tools. Supervise supplier quality performance and drive corrective actions. Train and motivate the quality team to meet operational and strategic goals. Requirements bachelors degree or higher in engineering or related field (mandatory). 5+ years of experience in quality management within the automotive manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of iatf 16949, apqp, ppap, 8d, fmea, spc, and msa. Experience managing supplier and customer quality processes. Advanced english proficiency (mandatory).
