this pivotal role within tiffany & co.'S expanding watch division is specifically dedicated to the south asia pacific region and encompasses three core areas: event support, boutique engagement, and comprehensive training. This role will be instrumental in driving the success of our watch collections through:
* events: providing comprehensive support for all events, including client appointments, jewelry and high jewelry watch showcases, and ensuring diligent follow-up on sales deliveries and transactions.
* boutiques: actively supporting and monitoring watch sales within boutiques to optimize performance and client satisfaction, including local activations
* training: leading and delivering engaging in-store training programs across all watch collections, empowering local teams with the knowledge and skills to excel.
this role focuses on preparing and coaching local teams to effectively showcase and sell watches during high jewelry events and providing ongoing product and sales training. The ideal candidate is client-centric, and possess a background in jewelry watches (brands or retailers), a passion for horology, and strong communication and coaching skills. This role will report to high jewelry director, south asia pacific.
responsibilities
event support (high jewelry events)
* ensure the smooth integration of the watch collections into regional or local high jewelry events, ensuring a cohesive and elevated brand experience.
* provide pre-event coaching and training to retail teams on watch collections, sales techniques, and client engagement.
* serve as a key point of contact and product expert during high jewelry events, supporting the sales team and engaging with clients.
* collaborate with event teams to ensure seamless integration of watch displays and messaging.
* analyse the key success factors and provide recommendations for future improvements.
* follow-up on deliveries and sales post-event
* regional point of contact for retail teams on the high end watches demands and sales
* liaise with global watch team and regional merchandising teams
* ensure optimal boutique inventory coverage, and product placement and display
training & development
* serve as the regional training lead for all watch collections.
* develop and implement a locally adapted learning strategy and tools, aligned with product launches, retail team knowledge levels, and collections performance.
* create and deliver engaging training programs, including product knowledge, sales techniques, and brand storytelling, including on-boarding of new joiners and store briefings
* utilize various training methods, including in-person or virtual workshops, and on-the-job coaching.
* monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting content and delivery as needed.
* collaborate with global training teams to ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards.
* drive watch ambassador program – create engagement and elevate skillset, monitor kpis
cross-functional collaboration
* work closely with the high jewelry director and regional sales teams to achieve sales targets and brand objectives.
* partner with the global watch team in geneva to ensure cohesive messaging and event success.
* provide feedback from the field to inform product development and marketing strategies.
* partner with local training teams to ensure the integration of watch training into regional learning strategy.
* collaborate with other departments, including after-sales, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations
qualifications
* minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in retail and sales support within the luxury watch or jewelry industry
* passion for horology and a strong understanding of the watch market
* proven ability to train and coach retail teams effectively
* excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire retail teams and clients
* strong organizational and project management skills
* ability to travel within the region as needed
* proficiency in microsoft office suite
* passionate about luxury watches and the tiffany & co. brand
* excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
