to find, assess, and consolidate suppliers of electric motor components to support iec holden’s ambitious growth (5x in 5 years), deliver timely and accurate supplier quotes for bids, drive cost reduction initiatives and payment term improvement, and ensure high-quality goods or services at competitive prices while maintaining strong, reliable supplier relationships.

* request for quotation (rfq) for sourcing roadmap at the bidding stage: 95% on time and 80% accuracy
* sustaining program material cost reduction: 2% yoy
* new product introduction (npi) material cost accuracy: 100%
* days payable outstanding (dpo) improvement: 22 days improvement
* take a key role in new suppliers or new part qualification process
* provide support to cross functional teams addressing material shortages or supplier quality issues as needed
role competencies
* problem solver - demonstrated ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve supply chain challenges by developing effective solutions. Apply critical thinking, creativity, and strong decision-making skills to assess situations, identify root causes, and implement strategies to overcome obstacles.
* experience in supply chain and/or procurement function - 3+ years of global supply chain and/or procurement experience in electric motor manufacturing.
* commodity knowledge on electric motors components - 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience in electric motor industry, including supplier qualification, negotiating contracts and pricing, risk management, supplier relationship management, supply base consolidation, etc.
* execution excellence - past high performance in managing large-scale rfq, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. Experience leading npi launches, expediting material shortages, managing customer communications, and addressing bom cost discrepancies.
* data-driven decision making - advanced skills in ms office excel, with a strong foundation in data analysis.
