Brief role description
manage and administer the tasks and operations of the infrastructure, operations, cloud operations, it security operations and technologies team across work areas. This includes adherence to industry best practices, oversight of key performance indicators, management of physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure, and compliance with laws, regulatory guidelines and group policies to ensure continuous, reliable, and sustainable operations with appropriate slas.
possible tasks within this role
* planning, operation and continuous improvement of technological infrastructure and it services, including communication channels, workplace technologies, it security and cloud operations. This involves planning and implementing changes and new services, ensuring continuous availability, sustainability, cost control (tco), quality of service and customer satisfaction, and correct execution of agreed production processes.
* coordination, control and operational documentation, ensuring timely updates of project and change information, operation manuals, internal processes and inventories in accordance with policies, supplier contracts and service levels. Also responsible for generating internal control reports and it area indicators to ensure compliance, quality and continuous operation of critical processes.
* cloud operations management (aws) in coordination with nar hub and headquarters, including activity planning, definition of standards and new services, security, compliance and cost monitoring through tools such as cloud health, and scheduling of cloud team workloads aligned with global planning and north american region needs.
qualification requirements
* bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science or equivalent.
* relevant master’s degree or certification in it frameworks such as itil, cobit, and iso27001.
* minimum 7 years of experience managing multidisciplinary it operations / it security teams.
* minimum 7 years of experience in administration and management of infrastructure and it operations.
* minimum 7 years of experience in administration and management of infrastructure in workplace technologies.
* minimum 7 years of experience in administration and operations management in the aws cloud.
* minimum 7 years of experience managing it infrastructure service providers.
* minimum 7 years of experience in systems implementation, solution design, consulting and management of it infrastructure projects.
* competence managing work teams for operating systems, wintel technologies, servers, virtualization, backups and storage.
* knowledge and competence managing teams handling network principles and applications (tcp/udp protocols, iscsi services, dns, dhcp, gpo) and l2/l3 network architecture, vlan.
* understanding of backup, data protection and disaster recovery concepts.
* experience with public, private and hybrid cloud architectures.
* knowledge and competence managing lan, wan, man, network security, telecom structured cabling, pbx, wlan and cloud infrastructure.
* knowledge and competence managing teams for information security operations such as antivirus, endpoint protection, client security, vulnerability management and patch management.
* knowledge and competence managing teams for workplace technology operations (licensing, asset management, collaboration technologies, sharepoint, management consoles, mobile device management).
