Job description
we are seeking an experienced it solution engineer to implement business requirements in our oracle transportation management (otm) system.
this is a key role that requires strong technical and functional expertise with otm, including oracle pl/sql. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working with otm and be able to advise and support specialist departments during the rollout of the otm solution across various regions.
the it solution engineer will be responsible for configuring otm settings and preferences, providing application consulting for the transport management system using otm, and supporting integration topics including coordination with logistics service providers, itrack, suppliers, and warehouse management systems.
in addition, the successful candidate will possess experience in otm reporting and sql, as well as knowledge of logistics and transportation processes, including lsp shipment and transport management.
they will also have hands-on experience with otm web applications for lsps, suppliers, and internal users, and knowledge of the match & pay process, including ocr scan functionality.
expertise in order management processes, managing orders in otm, and experience in shipment planning and execution within otm are highly desirable.
