Industrial engineer ii
this is a role within cg's nogales engineering group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) follow and lead the company safety rules, active contribution and participation on the ehs initiatives, as well makes proposals to continuously be improving the safety and ergonomics conditions at the work area., and (ii) in a monthly basis must analyze, calculate, and define line capacity in term of headcount, materials handlers, delivery routes, kanban and equipment needed to achieve the planning demand, it is expected that based on the prior experience must be able to provide proposal to optimize the resources as needed.. Requires 3+ years relevant work experience as defined in the essential duties & responsibilities; prior experience in industrial engineering, materials flow engineer, lean engineer or logistics engineer (related to materials handling) and a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial, systems or logistical or other related engineering field. Able to independently manage complex tasks and projects involving line balancing, material flow, parts presentation, standard work, time and motion analysis, pfep, capacity analysis, manufacturing line layout, and manning calculations. Skilled in prioritizing and executing multiple assignments, offering practical recommendations based on experience, and fostering open communication with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

* in a monthly basis must analyze, calculate, and define line capacity in term of headcount, materials handlers, delivery routes, kanban and equipment needed to achieve the planning demand, it is expected that based on the prior experience must be able to provide proposal to optimize the resources as needed.
* update the work area documents like pfep, line layout, asts, ergonomic studies, standard work, rbts, kanban signals. Periodically should be revised the records of master data, storage location address, supply areas looking for trend and take actions if it is needed, and the cg's platforms (sap, jira, velocity, scorecard, etc.) must keep accurate as much as legacy products and new lunches.
* provide support and make recommendations for the ehs, opex and npi initiatives, as well attend the production mdi and provide analysis and solution for problems escalated, must take the lead to coordinate projects, and recommend changes based on prior analysis or feedback.
* coordinate, lead or be a mentor of the productivity projects applying the prior knowledge acquired in the work area or a cross the plant with other department in order to achieve the personal and company goal. Must escalate to the proper stakeholders when risks arise with a productivity project.
* analyze and provide solution to improve processes in term of ergonomic standards with the best practices at the industries to robust safety in the manufacturing areas.
* responsible to identify opportunities to improve the warehouses performance for material logistic internally or external and the resources needed to achieve it.
* keep the visual factory standard, following the standards colors, materials, kind of structures, workstations and visual signs to ensure a homogeneous environment.
* support and mentor technicians.

education/certifications:
bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial, systems or logistical or other related engineering field
experience:
3+ years relevant work experience as defined in the essential duties & responsibilities; prior experience in industrial engineering, materials flow engineer, lean engineer or logistics engineer (related to materials handling).
