The consultant will work with a cloud tech lead and cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure risks, policies, and procedures—ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and enterprise objectives.key responsibilitiesplan, execute, and report on internal it audits focusing on cloud infrastructure (aws, azure).evaluate the design and effectiveness of it controls within infrastructure-as-code (iac) and devsecops environments.assess compliance with frameworks such as sox, iso27001, nist, and internal security policies.collaborate with cloud engineering teams to understand hosting strategies and ci/cd processes.conduct risk assessments on cloud security, iam, logging, monitoring, and encryption standards.review and improve it security policies, standards, and procedures.contribute to audit reports, management responses, and remediation plans, communicating with senior stakeholders.maintain knowledge of cloud networking, configuration management, and automation pipelines relevant to audits.coordinate with other audit and compliance professionals on multidisciplinary initiatives.required skills & experienceunderstanding of cloud platforms (aws and/or azure) and security principles.experience with gap analysis, it controls, and policy review.background in engineering and cloud technologies.experience in documentation, analysis, and report drafting.knowledge of it security frameworks and certifications.additional detailsseniority level: mid-senior levelemployment type: full-timejob function: business development and salesindustries: technology, information and internet
