Our North America HR Team is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support our three Mexico sites which are home to our incredible Milagro Tequila Brand!
This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of sound and professional HR generalist service for our Bottling and/or Distilling & Technical and Central Services functions locally.
As part of a global organization, this role is required to interact with HR and Operational colleagues within the USA and the UK on a regular basis.
As such, advanced fluency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written) is required.
This role is anticipated to be based in our Tepatitlan (Jalisco) bottling facility, however regular travel to our distillery in Atotonilco and our administrative offices in Guadalajara is required.
Occasional travel to the USA and UK may be required from time to time.
Responsabilidad del cargo
A typical day in this role, includes, but is not limited to:
- Administering in-country payroll and benefits as directed
- Supporting high performing teams and talent in-country by managing the full (end-to-end) HR lifecycle to the assigned operational function(s)
- Guiding local employees and frontline leaders on HR lifecycle areas (ex.
performance, discipline, L&D;) and relevant policies and procedures.
- Delivery of innovative initiatives of value in support of employee engagement
- Actively utilizing and maintaining all HR and applicable company systems and data to fullest extent, ensuring compliance and integrity of data
- Active participation in regional and global HR and/or functional initiatives as directed
Nuestro candidato ideal
Our ideal candidate has advanced fluency (verbal and written) in both English and Spanish, is well versed in Mexican Labor Law (including unions), is able to travel to different sites in-country as required and has previous experience working within a global organization across multiple time zones.
More specifically our ideal candidate has:
- Degree level education in a related/applicable field
- A demonstrated history of effectively applying sound HR principles, practices, and techniques across all HR generalist areas (including sound knowledge of basic payroll, benefit, and rewards principles), ideally within a spirits, beverage, or FMCG environment
- Tangible evidence of driving compliance, ethics, employee engagement, and positive company culture across an organization
- Extensive experience using multiple HR/ERP systems, providing reporting and analysis, and delivering presentations
- The ability to flex style and approach to deliver difficult messages with tact, to gain buy-in, and to build and maintain strong relationships with employees, leaders, and colleagues
- The drive to manage and deliver multiple priorities and projects at pace and on-time; agility to work within a high change environment and amid uncertainty
