Selected experts will join a specialized task force responsible for supporting and stabilizing critical suppliers within the automotive supply chain. This role requires professionals capable of working directly on the plant floor, identifying operational bottlenecks, and implementing sustainable improvements in manufacturing performance, logistics flow, and industrial processes.
main objective
as part of this expert team, you will work directly with supplier plants to analyze operational performance, implement industrial best practices, and ensure production stability aligned with oem requirements. Your expertise will play a key role in strengthening supplier capabilities and protecting supply chain continuity.
key responsibilities
* perform on-site supplier assessments to identify operational inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
* support production stabilization and operational recovery in manufacturing plants facing performance challenges.
* analyze manufacturing processes, logistics flows, and production kpis to identify root causes of inefficiencies.
* apply lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies to drive measurable improvements in productivity and quality.
* implement and monitor industrial tools such as value stream mapping, line balancing, capacity analysis, and waste reduction initiatives.
* collaborate with supplier leadership and operational teams to develop and execute improvement action plans.
* provide clear reporting and operational visibility to project stakeholders and client leadership.
core requirements
10–20 years of proven experience in manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, or supplier development within the automotive industry.
technical expertise: strong background in manufacturing processes, operations management, and plant performance optimization.
continuous improvement: advanced knowledge and practical application of lean manufacturing and lean six sigma methodologies.
supplier development experience: demonstrated experience working directly with suppliers to improve operational performance and manufacturing capabilities.
problem‐solving mindset: strong ability to diagnose operational issues on‐site and implement practical solutions in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.
hands‐on approach: comfortable working directly on the plant floor, interacting with production, engineering, and logistics teams.
