Job description
this position provides administrative support to the internal audit organization, focusing on risk-based auditing and reporting methodologies. The role involves assisting in the establishment of an effective audit function that aligns with business objectives.
the business manager will support the chief auditor in overseeing risk assessment, planning, and resource allocation across the ia team. This includes undertaking specific projects related to coverage topics and infrastructure support to enhance assurance work and reporting quality.
main responsibilities:
* coordinate entity structure development, risk assessment, and planning across the audit team. Support quarterly stat reporting and collaborate with the chief auditor to resolve execution barriers.
* prepare input and assessment as part of the new risk governance framework (rgf).
* maintain the audit plan and prepare relevant materials for quarterly refreshes. Assist the chief auditor and directors in preparing engagement forums.
* closely work with the chief auditors, directors, and other ia colleagues to ensure efficient audit assurance provision.
* accurately maintain schedules in the new scheduling tool and engage in conversations regarding staffing needs. Coordinate with other teams on budget tracking, organization design (od), and co-source management.
* oversee od fulfillment and facilitate staff recruitment and talent development across teams.
* take accountability for voice of employees (voe) commitments and coordinate banamex engagements.
* direct audit activities supporting a subset of a product line, function, or legal entity at the global or regional level, adhering to ia standards and local regulations.

* advanced experience in business, functional, and people management, with a proven ability to execute high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables.
* subject matter expertise in consumer / corporate banking, insurance, annuities, pension funds, and regulatory compliance.
