The sales manager – pump distribution is responsible for strategically leading all sales activities to achieve organizational growth objectives, expand market penetration, and increase the customer base. The role oversees regional sales operations—including quotations, tenders, and field sales teams—while maintaining strong relationships with clients to maximize opportunities, improve efficiencies, and drive sustainable business growth.the position is also accountable for key business performance metrics such as sales performance, talent retention, visit compliance, and expense management. Success will be achieved through effective leadership of sales supervisors and sales associates within the assigned region.key responsibilities- strategic leadership- define strategic objectives for the sales department aligned with the company's overall business goals.
* review and refine the strategic goals of all reporting departments, approve action plans, and monitor implementation progress.- sales growth & market expansion- drive the generation of new sales within assigned geographic territories.

* manage strategic distributor partners and maintain high‐value relationships with end users.- customer & market engagement- build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of customer organizations, including operators, engineering, maintenance, and management.

* identify competitive activity and adjust sales strategies accordingly.- organizational development- review and recommend enhancements to the organizational structure in coordination with the hr manager to improve performance and alignment.
* establish and maintain the company's sales policies and procedures manual.- client database & business processes- develop strategies to expand and strengthen the client database.
* oversee activities of reporting departments and implement reporting tools to monitor performance, flag deviations, and drive corrective actions.- leadership & team development
