fortra is looking for a marketing specialist to help execute and support successful marketing programs. This position may assist with a variety of marketing activities, including lead generation, branding initiatives, communications, and web content maintenance. Key tasks may include project management, working with external vendors, measurement, and reporting.
key duties
* help plan and support marketing activities such as lead generation programs, thirdparty promotions, emails, tradeshows, events, webinars, web content creation, and
other activities
* work with external vendors where required, including third-party software review sites,
contractors, and publications
* track, analyze, report, measure, and communicate program results
* help maintain updated content on brand website(s), software review sites, and other
domains
* conduct project based research on market and competitors
* conduct research on propspective advertising opportunities
* other duties as assigned
basic qualifications
* 1+ years of experience
* bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field.
* knowledge and understanding of marketing fundamentals
* self-starter and problem-solver
* strong project management skills with high attention to detail.
* ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
* excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* ability to work both in a creative environment as well as a structured, process-driven
one
* ability to receive and incorporate project feedback from manager and team.
* marketing project officer
* junior project manager (marketing focus)
* pmo or administrative marketing support
* fluent english required.
* experience in cybersecurity or technology marketing is a plus
* project management or coordination experience.
* editing content management ability.
