Position Summary: As a member of the professional staff, contributes specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline to support team and/or department objectives. Works under limited supervision, within established guidelines, monitoring the flow of work between own department and others in alignment with business strategies, selecting and developing effective managers and work teams, managing own organization through reliable systems and processes, and producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision‑making process.
Specific Job Summary: To generate maximum sales efficiencies, while maintaining or exceeding targeted net sales volume. Promote and support all aspects of customer service and enhancement. Assist with the supervision of a sales line through coaching, modeling, and reinforcing effective sales and customer service practices, behaviors, and results. Maintain a professional and personal image that upholds the Company standards of integrity, quality, and service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to team, department and/or business results by performing more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects.
- Often manage small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.
- Respond to, solve, and make decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to moderate risk.
- Engage in staffing and development of others by using appropriate MVW interviewing tools to hire the best managers and promoting diversity and balance of skills.
- Set and maintain high standards for team and individual performance; provide timely coaching and feedback; recognize and reward performance.
- Assist more senior associates in achieving business results by identifying opportunities to enhance processes; provide training and guidance to less senior staff; participate in setting department operating plans.
- Respond to daily activities and performance, and report to leadership as required; provide hands-on, in-field training for new hires or current team members on performance issues.
- Direct on-site customer service issues or requests to management; liaise between management and team members; support sales process as needed; assist in developing training and development programs for sales agents.
- Present product with integrity and professionalism; work with owner base to maximize lead harvest, reloads, and referral sales; work toward achieving sales goals as outlined in Sales SOP, including efficiency, net closing, sales volume, owner service, and team support.
- Assist in recruitment and interviewing; ensure accurate completion of documents; minimize cancellations and ensure timely closings; manage the cancellation/salvage process with timely notifications and resolutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Hotel Management degree preferred; proven track record in Vacation Membership Program sales.
- Minimum 5 years of closing experience with sales supervision and customer-facing experience in the vacation industry.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish fluent; excellent verbal and written communication in both languages.
- Strong leadership, relationship skills, and the ability to coordinate high activity levels under varying conditions.
- Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; willing to work versátil hours, including holidays or six- to seven-day schedules as required.
- Basic-to-advanced computer skills for reporting and communication; ability to present the product with integrity and adhere to company guidelines.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; ability to lift up to 35 pounds; ability to climb stairs if needed.
