The warehouse supervisor (mx) is responsible for overseeing the efficient, accurate, and compliant operation of warehouse and distribution activities supporting depuy synthes’ supply chain in mexico. The role focuses on ensuring product availability, inventory accuracy, and on‑time delivery while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
key responsibilities
* supervise daily warehouse and distribution activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods.
* monitor inventory levels, review reports, and support cycle counts and reconciling physical and system inventory.
* ensure compliance with shipping commitments, evaluate delivery timelines, and take corrective actions to address delays or operational issues.
* oversee inspection of incoming materials to confirm conformity with orders, specifications, and quality requirements; coordinate returns of non‑conforming materials as needed.
* coordinate distribution and transportation activities to support efficient and cost‑effective movement of goods.
* lead and support warehouse team members, promoting safe work practices, adherence to procedures, and effective execution of daily tasks.
* support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing warehouse and transportation operations, data, and processes.
* prepare, process, and ensure accuracy of inbound and outbound shipment documentation.
* act as escalation point for warehouse or distribution issues requiring timely resolution.
required qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, business, or a related field.
* 4–6 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain operations.
* experience supervising or leading warehouse teams or day‑to‑day operational activities.
* working knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse processes.
* ability to analyze operational data and reports to support decision‑making and improvements.
* ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, including standing and moving throughout the facility as required.
* spanish language proficiency; english proficiency preferred.
preferred qualifications
* experience in regulated environments such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare supply chains.
* familiarity with warehouse management systems (wms) and erp platforms.
* experience supporting continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
* prior experience coordinating with transportation providers or third‑party logistics partners.
* demonstrated people‑leadership or coaching experience.
* strong organizational skills with attention to detail and compliance requirements.
* logistics, supply chain, or safety certifications (preferred).
* travel: limited; occasional local travel may be required (<10%).
