Job title: pmo lead / program manager – retail & marketplacelocation: monterrey-work from officeexperience required: 10+ yearslanguage: english (mandatory), spanish (preferred) job summary:we are looking for an experienced pmo lead / program manager to oversee and drive end-to-end program governance, delivery excellence, and stakeholder alignment for a large-scale retail and marketplace implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards across all phases of the program. Key responsibilities:program governance:establish and maintain a robust pmo framework aligned with the client’s organizational strategy.define program structure, milestones, kpis, and success metrics.retail & marketplace implementation oversight:provide strategic direction and leadership across retail and marketplace solution implementation (e.g., ecommerce platforms, digital storefronts, pos integrations, backend order management).collaborate with technology, product, and business stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment with retail business goals.project planning and execution:lead program planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.monitor program performance, timelines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.stakeholder & vendor management:serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership, internal teams, and external vendors.prepare and deliver executive-level reports and presentations.risk & issue management:identify, track, and mitigate program-level risks and issues.proactively address bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.team leadership:lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clarity in roles, responsibilities, and expectations.foster collaboration and a high-performance culture. Required skills and experience:proven track record as a program manager / pmo lead in large-scale retail and/or marketplace implementations.deep understanding of retail business models, ecommerce ecosystems, omnichannel, and supply chain operations.experience with platforms such as salesforce commerce cloud, magento, shopify, sap commerce, or similar.strong knowledge of agile, scrum, and waterfall methodologies.hands-on experience with tools like jira, ms project, confluence, and other pmo governance tools.excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.experience working with multicultural, globally distributed teams (latam/north america preferred).bilingual capabilities (english is mandatory; spanish is highly preferred). Education & certifications:bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, engineering, or related field.pmp, prince2, or pmi certifications preferred.agile/scrum certifications are a plus.
