role responsibilities:
* oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime
* lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians to achieve performance and safety goals
* plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
* troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
* collaborate with production teams to align maintenance priorities with operational needs
* drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
* ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
* manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers when needed
* track maintenance metrics and prepare basic reports on performance and improvements
* support the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment
minimum qualifications:
* bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environments, including 3+ years in a supervisory or team lead role.
* experience in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance
* advanced knowledge of control, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
* proficient in maintenance management systems
* ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
* knowledge of safety regulations and industrial best practices
* advanced english proficiency
preferred qualifications:
* experience with automation systems (plcs, hmis, sensors)
* familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (kaizen, tpm)
* experience implementing and improving preventive maintenance programs
* knowledge of root cause analysis tools (5 whys, fishbone, fmea)
* experience with cmms/erp systems (e.g., oracle)
* strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
