overview

the accounting manager will ensure the delivery of top-tier accounting services to external clients, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. This role can manage a remote team while maintaining excellent client relationships. The accounting manager plays a key role in aligning services with client goals, ensuring financial clarity and driving operational success.

key responsibilities

* manage and oversee accounting services provided to third-party clients, including general ledger, financial statements, and tax compliance.
* supervise and mentor remote accounting staff ensuring high performance and adherence to client-specific requirements.
* develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with financial regulations.
* act as primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
* prepare, review and present financial reports tailored to client's needs, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
* stay updated on tax laws and regulations relevant to client industries and ensure compliance across accounts.
* collaborate with other departments to align accounting services with broader business goals.
* support business development efforts by contributing to client onboarding and service customization.

qualifications

* years of accounting experience.
* expertise in tax preparation and compliance, particularly for small to med-size businesses.
* proficiency with accounting software and remote collaboration tools.
* proficiency in quickbooks.
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
