Job Description : We are looking for a talented and strategic professional to take a leading role in the growth and development of our Events Department. The successful candidate will possess strong experience in sales and event management, combined with a dynamic approach to driving results. Key responsibilities include significantly increasing bookings for corporate events, team building, master classes, holiday parties, and product launches. Also social events. Additionally, this person will develop innovative marketing strategies to promote our event venues and implement streamlined processes to ensure seamless coordination between sales and operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization’s overall success and reputation in the events industry.
Main Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies specifically designed for the Events Department, with the goal of significantly increasing revenue from private and corporate events, catering services, and flagship events.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and event organizers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
Team Management: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that drive event attendance and generate revenue. Coordinate the team, communicating prospecting and sales strategies in a timely manner, and acting as a facilitator for each member's skills. Optimize processes and procedures within the team to ensure a smooth transition of events from the sales phase to the operational phase.
Event Management and CRM Development: Oversee the planning and execution of all events, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis and Financial Management: Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to differentiate our venues in the market. Develop and manage Events Department budgets, ensuring profitable growth and efficient resource allocation. Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, event results, and market analysis to present to the Commercial Director.
Marketing Experiences (BTL): Constantly seek out events where our venues can have a presence through brand activations (new product launches, exhibitions, cultural events, etc.).
KPIs (Performance Indicators): Variable compensation (bonus) based on compliance with the established quarterly budget.
Skills
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools, with the ability to implement and optimize them from scratch.
An analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends and event performance to make informed decisions.
Proactive, with a high level of initiative and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
Passion for the hospitality industry, with a deep understanding of customer experience and event management.
High emotional intelligence, with the ability to receive and offer feedback constructively.
Requirements
5+ years of sales experience, with a strong focus on event management, catering and/or hospitality.
Experience leading sales teams (Hunters, Farmers, Analytics).
Proven track record of sales growth and developing successful event strategies in high-demand environments.
Experience managing client relationships, developing sales funnels, and closing deals.
Demonstrated success increasing catering bookings and selling experiences for weddings, holiday parties, and other major events.
Compensation Package
Base gross salary of $35,000 mxp per month + quarterly bonus (4% of revenue, capped).
