* proficiency in the fundamentals of data modeling, including entity-relationship diagrams (erds), data flow diagrams, and dimensional modeling.
* strong documentation skills to maintain clear and up-to-date data model diagrams, schema descriptions, and metadata.
* familiarity with version control systems like git for tracking changes to data models and related code.
* proficient in complex sql queries, common table expressions, and optimization techniques for managing and querying large datasets.
