Founded in 1982, Softtek is a general provider of process-driven IT solutions with offices worldwide. This role provides support to the Sr. Automation Test Engineer to ensure the Automated Testing Environment and Test Data are ready for the test team.
Responsibilities
- Create automated test scripts (medium complexity) according to coding standards.
- Execute automated test scripts according to the test plan and schedule.
- Report and track defects according to the Defect Management process.
- Collect and report test metrics.
- Communicate test results to the Test Lead.
- Escalate issues not resolved per escalation process.
- Coordinate and/or participate in revisions, inspections, and walkthroughs.
- Support Junior Automation Test Engineers.
- Implement and execute tests using automation tools and identify coding errors.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
- 2+ years of creating and executing automated test scripts.
- Certifications: Selenium or ISTQB Foundations, Scrum/Agile experience.
- Tool and technology: Demonstrates knowledge of SOAP and REST, SQL, Web Services, XML, Java.
