about the job:
we are seeking a highly skilled manufacturing operations manager to oversee our production processes and ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering and experience in managing production operations.
main responsibilities:
1. develop and manage short, medium, and long-term production plans to meet deadlines.
2. monitor production performance, generating progress reports and recommending adjustments to optimize efficiency.
3. analyze key performance indicators (kpis) related to production and propose improvements based on data.
4. ensure the efficient use of resources (materials, labor, equipment) to maximize productivity.
5. coordinate the procurement of necessary materials for the production process, maintaining proper inventory levels and preventing shortages.
6. identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and methodologies such as lean manufacturing, six sigma, etc.
7. implement technical solutions for continuous process improvement.
8. evaluate the feasibility of changes in processes or production lines to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times.
9. ensure that the final products meet established quality standards.
10. work closely with the quality teams to implement control procedures and conduct regular audits of the production process.
11. control and manage production costs without compromising quality or productivity.
12. prepare reports on production performance, including financial performance, and propose action plans to improve profitability.
13. ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
14. manage production-related documentation, maintaining clear and up-to-date records of processes.
15. collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance, logistics, and other departments to ensure the smooth execution of production plans.
16. report regularly to management on production status, including performance, issues, and improvement proposals.
17. lead projects related to process improvements or the implementation of new technologies/products in the production process.
18. coordinate the execution of projects within the established budget and timeline.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, production engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
* minimum 3 years of experience in production management, process control, or industrial engineering within manufacturing or production environments.
* experience with production management and inventory control tools (e.g., sap, erp, mes).
* knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean, six sigma, kaizen).
* proficiency in data analysis tools (advanced excel, power bi, etc.).
* knowledge of quality control and industry regulations.
