*main responsabilities*:
- monitor system for new order activity
- utilize tms to consolidate orders / deliveries into optimized shipments, to select carriers for shipments in compliance with routing guide commitments
- coordination with international suppliers (ss lines, customs brokers, freight forwarders, transportation carriers).
- communicate detailed shipment information to selected carriers (tender shipment)
- monitor response of carriers to tendered shipments
- take alternate action in the event of a carrier refusal
- track /trace existing orders through delivery
- proactively communicate service failures by carriers to affected internal customers (o2i, snp, dc’s, plants)
- proactively resolve carrier service issues through determination and execution of alternative delivery method
- track and report carrier performance data to facilitate service level improvement, (ie; tender acceptance %, on-time arrival / delivery)
*education & qualifications*:
- bachelor or high school diploma
- 1 year of experience in cs&l
- intermediate english
- computer skills
