Purchasing business – lixl americas

visión general:

* manage purchasing business for lixl americas for selected commodities.
* be part of the global lixil purchasing team.
* develop lixil americas commodity strategy with the global team to ensure best cost, quality, supply and resilience.
* drive, develop and report activities to achieve overall cost productivity to the business.
* run market‑tests, negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
* collaborate with r&d and engineering to implement vave measures.
* initiate, develop and implement multi‑year vave, resource and negotiation procurement strategies.
* preferably experienced with thermoplastics, zinc die cast, machining brass & steel components, brass & steel foundries, packaging, fasteners, gaskets, rubber categories.
* handle operational activities: order placement, tool and delivery follow‑up, quality escalations, kpi reporting and stakeholder alignment.
* prepare and present sourcing studies to management.
* facilitate supplier workshops focused on va/ve, lean and edi supporting division productivity goals.
* work with suppliers and divisional teams to increase value, quality, delivery performance and technology solutions; track improvements in inventory turns, lead‑times, productivity support and supplier performance.
* communicate openly and with integrity across key business stakeholders to align direction.
* understand the bath & kitchen industry and market through industry and supplier analysis.

requisitos:

* bachelor degree in engineering or business economics.
* minimum 5‑year experience in procurement / supply chain.
* commodity experience in cardboard, metals and thermoplastics.
* extensive experience driving productivity through va/ve.
* extensive experience in contract negotiation.
* travel (25%) is required.
* microsoft excel and powerpoint knowledge is essential.
* 3‑year experience in sap/bw/ariba and procurement transactions.
* experience developing category long‑term strategies.
* fully bilingual in english (oral and written).
* work experience in bath & kitchen industry is preferred.

bic – packaging and technical data manager

responsibilities:

* manage technical data for the creation of new co‑packed finished goods.
* manage logistics data (palettization, size, weight, etc.).
* maintain bills of material (bom) and co‑packing instructions.
* initiate artwork packaging workflows.
* create and maintain the packaging database, including technical drawings and specifications.
* support product and packaging switches in bill of materials.
* act as an interface between packaging development, process and quality teams in the factory.
* participate in codes (packaging material / finished good) generation in the mrp (jde).
* print card development process with local suppliers.
* generate packaging material and finished good instructions.
* support lam/nam packaging engineers.

qualifications:

* associate degree preferred.
* strong attention to detail and enjoys working with data.
* strong organizational skills.
* proficiency in excel.

supply chain manager – mexico

responsibilities:

* manage and optimize the supply chain process by defining its scope, mapping the current process, identifying variations, setting performance metrics, developing sops, implementing technology solutions, and training stakeholders.
* foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and optimizing processes to improve efficiencies.
* ensure all stakeholders are aligned on goals and objectives for the supply chain process.
* monitor and measure performance using established kpis to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
* collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as production planning, logistics operations and sales to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs.
* identify potential risks such as capacity constraints or transportation disruptions and develop contingency plans.
* provide guidance on compliance issues related to the ready mix cement industry standards.

qualifications:

* minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain optimization and planning in a comparable environment close to manufacturing operations.
* strong experience in purchasing and supplier development.
* proficient negotiator with demonstrated results driving supply chain improvements and measurable performance improvement results.
* comprehensive supply chain planning experience (capacity, scheduling, master production scheduling).
* working experience with supply chain planning systems and erp systems.
* strong knowledge of supply chain and a strong manufacturing background (sheet metal and assembly operations).
* strong analytical, detail‑oriented, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
* fluent english (reading, writing, speaking).
* strong leadership and communication skills, including presentations and motivations across cross‑functional environments.
