In this role, you will serve as procurement project specialist ii in honeywell’s connected enterprise (hce). Hce is building and connecting software solutions to streamline and centralize the assets, people, and processes, translating into smarter, safer, more efficient business decisions for our customers.
*key responsibilities*:
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement initiatives, focusing on streamlining workflows, reducing cycle times, and enhancing overall procurement effectiveness.
- analyze existing procurement processes to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
- lead or participate in the design and configuration of sap's procurement software (s4) to align with the organization's procurement requirements and objectives.
- work closely with it teams and functional stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of s4 modules.
- conduct user acceptance testing (uat), training sessions, and post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of s4 functionalities.
- develop and maintain a centralized repository of procurement best practices, templates, and documentation to facilitate
- knowledge sharing and standardization across the organization.
- implement knowledge management tools and platforms to capture, organize, and disseminate relevant procurement information, including vendor profiles, contract terms, and market trends.
*you must have*:
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing & procurement
- 1+ experience with sap
- 1+ years of experience leading process improvement initiatives
- 1+ years of experience leading process mapping initiatives
- experience with six sigma and lean tools
- bachelor of science in business, engineering, supply chain, technology or finance
