*about this opportunity!*:
this is a senior technical lead position at ericsson mexico where you get to work with highly motivated engineers in delivering ericsson's multimedia telephony application server (mtas) features for volte,vowifi and other ims enabled solutions.
Within mtas vnf development organization, agile methodology and philosophy are practiced in spirit. A relatively flat system of cross-functional teams reporting into line managers who then report to a product development group (pdg) head. Be responsible for leading a set of multi-functional teams comprising design and test engineer. Be working effectively with seasoned professionals and must also enjoy the aspects of mentoring, coaching and growing the relatively younger workforce.
*what you will do*:
- you will drive strategic technical leadership. Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling. Develop and test high quality products!
- you are continuously experimenting and learning more.
*you will bring*:
6- 10 years of overall ims design experience with a minimum of 3 years on a virtualized telecom carrier grade product
- good knowledge of ims architecture, 3gpp, gsma\volte specifications
- ability to articulate and lead discussions with product line and other design organizations. Open to considering and bringing newer design paradigms to improve product architecture
- prior experience in network function virtualization would be a big advantage
- comfortable with oops / design patterns / stl on linux
- should technically lead an agile multi-functional team.sufficient multi-functional skills to understand and develop / modify automated test cases.
- solid work ethic, customer focus, phenomenal teammate with passion for delivering world class solutions.
- b. Tech degree in cs/ec/ee or related studies.
