responsibilities
financial leadership & strategy
* serve as the regional financial leader for all fabrication facilities within the mexico region, reporting directly to the fabrication vp of finance and functionally supporting the regional fabrication operations vp.
* drive the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and long-range strategic planning for the regional fabrication segment.
* partner with site management and regional operations teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities, efficiency improvements, and process optimization strategies.
* provide timely and insightful financial analysis on key performance indicators (kpis), operational variances, capital expenditures (capex), and product line profitability.
accounting, control & compliance
* ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely reporting of all financial data in compliance with us gaap, sarbanes‑oxley (sox) requirements, and our company’s policies and procedures.
* manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
* implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
team management & development
* lead, mentor, and develop the site‑level financial teams within the fabrication facilities, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* promote cross‑functional collaboration between finance, operations, engineering, and supply chain teams.
qualifications
education & experience
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Cpa, cma, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
* minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5-7 years in a controller or senior financial management role within a multi‑plant manufacturing or fabrication environment.
* strong, verifiable experience in a multinational company operating in mexico is essential.
* excellent organizational and time management skills along with professional verbal and written communication skills.

* proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate remote teams across multiple locations.
