comply fully with the operational safety plan on site to ensure the safety of our employees and personnel within the airport, and to perform necessary adjustments for proper execution and monitoring.
responsabilidades principales
- communicate with the airport air traffic control entities, using current and correct aeronautical phraseology, to coordinate activities that have any fixed or sporadic contact with the airport movement area or any other area that could impact aircraft operational safety.
- communicate with all stakeholders, including the civil aviation authority (aac) and airport personnel, to securely and effectively coordinate all activities related to the contractor’s work in the air operations area (aoa).
- consult the aeronautical information publication (pia) of the airport, especially section ad2, for guidance in your duties.
- monitor daily the mechanical and beacon conditions of vehicles, equipment, and machinery before and during their presence in the aoa.
- properly guide all vehicles and equipment to the contractor’s service that need to transit the airport movement area or any other potentially hazardous area.
- review daily the validity of notams before initiating or coordinating any activity or request, and maintain situational awareness throughout the work shift.
- support the operational safety coordinator in analyzing any contractor activity, planned or emergent, with the purpose of identifying risks and determining the necessity of issuing notams.
- identify and report any fatigue of yourself or other site personnel to the designated cso for immediate action.

habilidades y conocimientos requeridos
- escolaridad: licenciaturas en ingeniería industrial, ingeniería de sistemas o carreras afines.
- dominio del idioma inglés: avanzado técnico y de negocios.
- experiencia requerida: 2 años laborando en proyectos dentro del aeropuerto.
- certificaciones: curso de sistema de gestión de la seguridad operacional; curso de seguridad operacional en el lado aéreo; curso de seguridad operacional en obras; licencia federal de operaciones aeronáuticas.
- trabajo bajo presión.
- conocimientos: ingeniería, construcción, project management.
- competencias críticas: cumplimiento de reglamentos.

internas: gerencia de pavimentación, superintendente en obra, coordinador de seguridad operacional.
