The Internal Comms Intern will support the Culture & Communications team in executing internal communication strategies that foster connection, clarity, and engagement among Stori employees. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, creative content production, and wants to learn how internal communications contribute to shaping a strong company culture. You'll assist with content creation, communication logistics, and support key initiatives that bring our mission and values to life.
- Basic understanding of corporate communication principles and internal comms dynamics.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets) and curiosity to learn automation tools like Google Script, Make, YAMM, or Autocrat.
- Familiarity or interest in internal comms tools such as Mailchimp, BeeFree, and digital signage platforms (e.g., Optisigns).
- Basic skills (or willingness to develop) in:
- design and video editing using tools like Canva, OBS, CapCut, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
- livestreaming setups, including tools like OBS, Google Meet, Zoom, and related equipment (audio interfaces, cameras, microphones).
- Required languages: Spanish & Advanced English
No prior formal professional experience required, but any working experience, especially in fast-paced, high-demand environments, is a plus, such as hands-on experience from university projects, internships, volunteer work, content creation, social media management, or event coordination.
- Assist in drafting internal communications such as newsletters, Slack posts, presentations, and announcements.
- Support the management and maintenance of internal channels (Slack, intranet, newsletters, digital signage).
- Help create visual and multimedia content, including simple designs, videos, and presentation materials to make communications more engaging.
- Provide technical and operational support for livestreams, All Hands meetings, and internal events (setup of cameras, microphones, OBS, etc.).
- Collaborate on logistics for internal initiatives and events, including scheduling, coordination, and follow-ups.
- Assist with basic automation tasks for communications processes (e.g., distribution of e-mails, using YAMM or Autocrat).
- Collect feedback and help track engagement data to support continuous improvement of internal communications.
- Contribute creative ideas to strengthen employee engagement and cultural storytelling.
