as a *security officer - store driver patrol* in *santa fe, nm*, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as retail/malls, and more.
as a patrol unarmed officer with allied universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a retail environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an approachable presence.
you will regularly conduct patrols throughout the location, interact with guests and staff, and deliver outstanding customer service.

*what you'll do*:
- provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
- conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
- observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- assist visitors, customers and/or employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a courteous manner.
- support access control procedures as required by the site-specific policies.
- partner with local law enforcement or emergency personnel if situations arise that require their assistance.
*minimum requirements*:
- a valid driver's license is required in accordance with allied universal driver policy requirements.
- a guard card or license is preferred.
- comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- customer service experience is preferred.
- be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- a valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
