what are your contributions to the team?
* analysis, proposal, and implementation plan for improvements to support processes (industrial engineering and continuous improvement) to achieve lean manufacturing in the business units where the department collaborates.
* standardization of medium-complexity methodologies, tools, and/or methods for the department's activities across the different business units.
* analysis, proposal, and implementation plan for tools or methodologies for a specific area to prevent or reduce waste in the production process.
* optimal design of line balancing, capacity analysis, flow of operations, materials, and information for production processes where required.
* optimal plans for efficient use of resources (labor, machinery, time, and capital).
* proposal for an optimal distribution of space and flow of operations, materials, and information in the assigned production unit.
* analysis of compliance with internal and external safety standards related to layout, maximizing the use of resources.
* analysis, proposal and implementation plan for value-added projects that impact the safety, quality, delivery and cost of the business
how to thrive in this role?
* you should be recent graduate or within two years of completing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, computer systems engineering, or a related field.
* you must have intermediate english.
* you must have intermediate knowledge of excel (pivot tables and chart preparation).
