we are seeking a motivated accountant to handle general accounting tasks with a focus on accounts payable for our u.s.-based operations. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow in a full-cycle accounting role while maintaining strong ap oversight.
key responsibilities
* process and record accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and payments.
* reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
* assist in preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements.
* support month-end and year-end close activities.
* maintain accurate and organized financial records.
* collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment issues.
* assist with audits by providing required documentation.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (mandatory).
* 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with u.s.-based companies.
* professional english proficiency (written and spoken).
* knowledge of gaap and standard accounting practices.
* proficiency in ms excel and accounting/erp systems.
nice to have
* experience with stampli (ap automation) and/or paylocity (payroll software).
* exposure to both accounts payable and payroll processes.
