About the role of Server Assistant
Be responsible to assist and help ensure the Food & Beverage experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely manner and ensure dishes are as requested.
- Assist in delivering food orders including any special needs or requests.
- Breakdown, clean, and set up tables and condiment stations.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
What you bring
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position.
- A minimum of one (1) year working in a Food & Beverage position.
- Two (2) or more years’ experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of operating computer equipment and familiarity with the Micros system.
- Understand and be familiar with hotel quality and service standards.
- Highest level of integrity and transparency; apply an ethical approach to outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
