Overview
delivery lead manager / supply chain – monterrey
responsibilities
* identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility.
* interact with senior management at a client, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach.
* manage large to medium sized teams and/or work efforts at a client.
* work in rotational shifts as required.
* ensure delivery of an optimal end-to-end supply plan for the assigned drbu / category, considering cash, cost, and service levers.
* run and approve “scenarios” for the drbu / category within defined levels.
* review dashboards to highlight exceptions and drive/seek approval for required actions to mitigate as required.
* create and approve inventory stockholding or other relevant policies within defined levels.
* create & approve new segmentation strategies within defined levels.
* create & approve parameter automation policies as a result of segmentation strategies within defined levels.
* define relevant planning horizons; frozen, scheduling, and planning.
* make day-to-day planning decisions for the assigned drbu / category.
* drive continuous improvement and change management to deliver sustainable change and the end-game operations vision.
* ensure all planning relevant master data is complete and correct across all required systems.
* may own activities from distribution & inventory or master planner roles depending on area/category size and complexity.
job requirements
* masters in supply chain / mba, analytics
* 7-10 years of experience across planning, logistics, npi, fmcg or consumer electronics supply chain.
* experience leading teams of 50-100 members; diverse teams.
* experience with erp systems and supply chain planning tools (sap, oracle, kinaxis).
* strong knowledge in iws, ci tools, and agile concepts.
* strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* holistic supply chain knowledge, including process, metrics; certified lean six sigma black belt.
* strong knowledge in fmez, fishbone, sipoc, kaizen, lean methodology.
* proven leadership capability.
* working hours: rotational shifts based on 7.30 hours; mon – fri; 8 am est - 10 pm est, sat/sun: 10 am est – 8 pm est. On-site in monterrey client office.
