we are hiring for the position of java developer!
primary competency:
* experience in java
* good experience in spring boot
* good experience in kubernetes
* proficient in rest services including api documentation
* familiarity with design patterns and java 8 features
* knowledge of rest
* experience with dependency management tools like maven, gradle
* experience in developing sqls with knowledge in oracle, db2
* recent hands-on development experience in the mentioned technologies
* experience working in a team following agile or xp methodology
* retail domain experience to understand business requirements
* experience in coordinating with various matrix teams
* sql performance tuning experience is preferred
* understanding of distributed systems and related concepts
day to day responsibilities:
* participating in requirement gathering sessions
* meeting with client business analysts to understand requirements
* providing management with timely communication on status & utilizing appropriate tools and/or developing custom solutions as required to meet objectives
* identifying areas for process improvement
* participating in the ongoing development roadmap
* creating and documenting test cases/plans
* exhibiting strong analytical ability
* collaborating with all teams to understand code changes and review business requirements while identifying any gaps
* exhibiting integrity in all decisions and actions
* excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
