job description
location: acuña coahuila
position: ehs & sustainability coordinator
objective: supervise implementation, maintenance, and improvement of pkc eehs management system in mexico and usa operations. Coordinate gathering of sustainability data and ensure accuracy of reporting.
responsibilities
* ensure compliance with pkc ehs policy and energy policy.
* monitor compliance with eehs management system requirements focusing on iso 14001, 45001, 50001.
* coordinate with local ehs managers for maintenance of the eehs management system.
* verify compliance with ehs & sustainability objectives and support locations in developing action plans.
* verify energy data reporting on gensuite benchmark system.
* respond to sustainability questionnaires from interested parties.
* determine ehs & sustainability training materials and strategies across pkc locations and monitor compliance.
* develop ehs & sustainability awareness campaigns and report on compliance.
* propose and implement improvements to the eehs management system.
* participate in internal and external audits for iso 14001, 45001, 50001, e&y, and others.
* review evidence quality for ehs kanban system compliance.
* perform other duties as assigned.
required profile
education and experience:
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, chemical engineering, or related ehss field.
* at least ten years of experience in a similar role.
* iso 14001, 45001, 50001 lead auditor certification preferred.
* fluent in english.
