key responsibilities
* identify and pursue new sales opportunities, developing a strategic sales plan.
* collaborate with estimating and engineering teams to create competitive bids and compelling proposals.
* build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
* develop strategies for securing orders and conduct strategic review meetings.
* stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
* establish and nurture vendor partnerships for lead generation and innovative solutions.
* actively participate in industry events and trade shows.
* ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
* monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and implement improvements.

qualifications
* bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
* minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment or manufacturing.
* strong understanding of finishing and specialty processing systems.
* excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* ability to travel as needed.
