Senior Business Development Manager, Contract Logistics – Mexico
Location: Mexico City
A leading general logistics organisation is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to drive the expansion of its Contract Logistics footprint across Mexico. With three existing sites totaling 50,000 sqm (including multi-user and dedicated facilities), this is a pivotal moment for growth, supported by a Mexico City–based Solutions and Operations team.
This senior-level position is focused on generating new business opportunities across Mexico, with a particular emphasis on the Fashion, Lifestyle, and Retail sectors — while also remaining open to other verticals. Reporting within a matrix structure, the successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating the company’s market presence and establishing long-term partnerships with leading brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives across priority verticals such as Fashion, Lifestyle, and Retail.
- Leverage existing networks with senior decision-makers (Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement leaders) to create pipeline and secure new customer wins.
- Partner closely with Mexico City–based Solutions and Operations teams to ensure effective solution design and customer implementation.
- Support the company’s broader strategic transformation in Mexico, aligning growth efforts with international stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 10–20+ years’ experience in Contract Logistics business development or solution-based sales.
- Proven ability to drive new sales growth and navigate complex buying processes at enterprise level.
- Strong network within the Mexican supply chain and logistics landscape; connections in key verticals highly advantageous.
- Track record of success in working with international logistics providers and/or strong “local hero” organisations.
- Hands-on, commercially driven mindset with the ability to balance strategic initiatives and practical execution.
- Fluency in Spanish and strong English skills required.
