provides efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages.checks packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content including weight and size, proper wrapping, insurance values, and special requirements for hazardous material shipments.prepares necessary paperwork related to pickup and delivery, such as airway bills, delivery records, vehicle condition, etc., with neatness and accuracy.seeks additional business from current customers; if unsuccessful, passes leads to the sales manager.informs station operations manager and sales of changes in customer or competitor efforts.loads company vehicles safely.audits size and weight of packages and boxes, sorts accordingly.ensures the use of safety equipment and full compliance with fedex safety policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.operates company vehicles safely and performs basic maintenance (cleaning, washing, tire pressure checks, etc.
).supports unloading customer merchandise, whether in bulk or on pallets, validating quality and quantity, and palletizing when needed.arranges products on racks using skids or forklifts (only for certified employees).may fulfill physical orders using work tools such as handheld scanners and pcs (wms and/or excel).performs value-added tasks such as product review, kit assembly, labeling, and packaging.performs other duties as assigned.minimum requirementseducation: middle school degree or equivalent preferred.

experience: general knowledge of warehouse operations, packaging, inventories.
experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred.
skills: ability to lift 55 lbs.
(25 kg) and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs.
(68 kg) with appropriate equipment.
ability to work variable shifts.
vehicle maintenance knowledge and power tools experience are a plus.
must pass basic skills test sections (reading, map reading, sorting, math).
