this role will be based out of the mexico city office; hybrid.
compensation
the annual base salary for this position is in the range of $330,000 - $430,000 mxn. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria. responsibilities:
* collect royalty reports and sales projections for approximately 140 contracts.
* calculate royalties and ensure complete, accurate and timely payment, including calculating commissions earned and liability to licensor.
* analyze reports for compliance to contractual obligations.
* create and maintain client-facing financial reporting.
* maintain internal sales & royalty databases.
* process accounts receivable.
* follow up on past due accounts, manage bad debt at or below acceptable levels.
* track and account for withholding tax.
* support client finance managers on internal client budgeting.
* support client finance managers on client reporting.
* invoicing using iofacturo for the payments received from licensees.
qualifications:
* bachelor's or associate degree with a business background preferred, or equivalent work experience
* 3-5+ years of post-university and/or professional work experience
* organized with superb attention to detail
* strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate well with a broad spectrum of international and domestic clients
* proficient in the english language (both written and verbal)
