as an expert, you will bring deep technical mastery of the process and equipment. This expertise allows you to lead the planning, process development, and implementation of planned maintenance elements in a continuous improvement manufacturing environment. You will manage this through teams consisting of various technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors, and operations personnel.
how you will contribute
you will:
* partner & enable the line leader(s) to deliver the sqcdsm targets—safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability & morale—for the lines, ensuring process stability; participate in the dms (daily management systems) meetings at the shift and line level.
* own the technology, process, and centerline settings for equipment and processes, with deep technical mastery; own the pm (progressive maintenance) systems and work processes, as well as the pm kpis for the lines, along with centerline management systems; own the r&m (repairs & maintenance) budget for the line.
* develop, own, and execute preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans; build the team's capability to execute these independently; spend at least 50% of time building technicians' technical and maintenance skills to operate and maintain equipment; be part of the pmpillar, owning all pm systems and leading some at the department level.
* partner with the asset and reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks; be responsible for change management, localization of spares, breakdown analysis, and r&m cost reduction; represent the department/line as the site technology owner in regional and global forums.
* assist in vsu (value stream unit) initiatives, enable the vsu team, support benchmarking, and reapplication; serve as a subject matter expert on component categories and as a trainer for pm subjects.

* advanced knowledge of autonomous maintenance (am) step 4 systems & progressive maintenance (pm) step 3, with the skill to maintain dedicated equipment independently, including executing am & pm standards and tpm phases 3 & 4 problem-solving tools.
* the capability to lead a role for the line, qualify and coach next-level swp owners, and drive opportunities across the line using pdca (plan-do-check-adjust).
* the capability to work as the line leader, developing and aligning goals/master plans, managing idps, coaching team members on performance, and career development.
additional role-specific responsibilities
this person will lead mechanics on-site, coordinate and supervise their roles, manage corrective maintenance tasks, ensure preventive maintenance plans are executed timely, and ensure quality and safety programs are followed.
minimum requirements
* university degree in engineering
* at least 3 years of experience in maintenance coordination in a plant setting
* knowledge of tpm, wcm, good manufacturing practices
* experience in mass consumption industries
* basic/intermediate english proficiency
