This is an it support position within the latam enterprise it team responsible for supporting the it and telecommunications infrastructure for the specified area/site, ensuring the utilization of hardware, software, and communication systems aligns with the global it strategy.
in this role, your responsibilities will include:
it infrastructure & support:
* providing support for end-users within agreed service levels.
* maintaining and updating it documentation.
* supporting and maintaining it infrastructure security in line with security policies.
* handling it systems and data access in collaboration with the service desk.
* ensuring effective backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
* managing it assets, including hardware lifecycle and software licensing.
* supporting audit compliance for it infrastructure.
* providing support for centrally provided it infrastructure (servers, clients, printers, data and voice communication).
* using the helpdesk as the main point for it issues and service requests.
planning & administration:
* assisting the it service delivery supervisor and providing relevant information.
* following company policies on it management, security, and procedures.
* helping users generate business proposals aligned with it standards and policies.
communication:
* fostering positive relationships with users and support sources.
* building a trusted partnership between it and the business.
candidate profile:
you are an it professional who prioritizes customer needs, values continuous learning, and works well in a team. You understand it infrastructure, can troubleshoot issues efficiently, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
requirements:
* college/university degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
* 0-3 years of experience in a general it environment.
* basic understanding of it infrastructure including vmware, windows server, cisco networking, citrix, active directory, security tools, ip networking, and windows os.
* language skills: english required, spanish preferred.
preferred qualifications:
* proficiency in additional languages, e.g., spanish.
* experience with diverse it systems and platforms.
* knowledge of standard it infrastructure management practices.
