If you want to build something big, this challenge is for you.job objetive: we are looking for a skilled backend engineer to join our operations engineering team and help maintain, scale, and optimize the core backend services of our online casino and sports betting platform.this is an operations-focused role where you’ll ensure reliability, compliance, and performance across critical systems — including player wallets, payments, game integrations, and real-time transactional flows. You’ll collaborate closely with operations, compliance, product, and marketing teams to deliver features quickly and keep the platform running smoothly in a live environment.key responsibilitiesdesign, develop, and maintain backend services supporting wallets, payments, game integrations, crm, and kyc/aml tools.build and optimize apis for psps, affiliate systems, game providers, fraud detection, and crm platforms.ensure high uptime and real-time performance across payment flows, bonus engines, and bet settlements.work closely with operations and compliance to implement regulatory and security standards (aml, kyc, gdpr, lgpd, pci-dss).monitor and troubleshoot production systems, resolving incidents and minimizing downtime.support operational requests such as new provider integrations, promotional features, and compliance updates.collaborate with frontend, qa, devops, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.participate in code reviews, ci/cd, and automated testing to ensure high quality.contribute to technical decisions that impact the stability and scalability of live operations.requirementseducation & trainingbachelor’s in engineering, systems, or related field.3–5+ years of experience as a backend engineer, ideally in igaming, fintech, or other high-transaction systems.proficiency in one or more backend languages (node.js, java, go, python, or similar).experience with microservices and event-driven systems.solid knowledge of databases (sql and nosql).familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization.understanding of payment gateways, psp integrations, and wallet systems.strong knowledge of security and authentication best practices.excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.ability to work in a fast-paced environment with crossfunctional teams.professional written and verbal english communication.nice to haveexperience in online casino or sportsbook platforms.familiarity with regulatory frameworks (mga, brazil, peru, mexico).knowledge of bonus engines, gamification systems, and retention tools.integrations with major game providers (pragmatic, evolution, pg soft, etc.).exposure to bi/reporting pipelines.what we offera role at the heart of live operations, directly impacting platform stability and player experience.the opportunity to work across wallets, payments, integrations, and compliance in a regulated industry.competitive compensation and growth opportunities.a collaborative, international team where operations and technology meet.
