we are looking for an experienced
data architect
with a strong background in
big data technologies and google cloud platform (gcp). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures, including
data pipelines ,
data lakes ,
data marts, and
enterprise data warehouses
on gcp. You should have hands-on experience with
bigquery ,
cloud dataproc ,
cloud composer ,
dataops ,
data security ,
master data management (mdm), and
data lineage tools .
responsibilities: design and implement modern, scalable data architecture on
gcp
using
bigquery, cloud dataproc, dataflow, pub/sub, and cloud storage define and manage
data modeling ,
data integration, and
metadata management develop
etl/elt pipelines
using cloud composer (airflow) and cloud dataproc (spark/hadoop) ensure data quality, data governance,
data lineage, and
master data management (mdm)
best practices collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define and build robust
data pipelines implement
data security
measures, including data encryption, access controls, and audit logging architect
dataops
processes for ci/cd of data pipelines, version control, monitoring, and automated testing evaluate and integrate third-party data tools for lineage, observability, and metadata management (e.g., collibra, informatica, alation) work closely with devops and cloud engineering teams to ensure

requirements: 7+ years of experience in
data architecture / engineering 3–5 years of experience working with
google cloud platform (gcp) strong experience with
bigquery ,

cloud composer ,

pub/sub proficient in
data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
and performance tuning for big data platforms expertise in
etl/elt ,
spark ,
airflow ,
python ,
sql, and
gcp-native services deep understanding of
data governance ,
security, and
compliance standards hands-on experience with
mdm ,
metadata management, and
data lineage
tools experience implementing
dataops
practices including pipeline automation, testing, and monitoring excellent communication and documentation skills strategic thinker and proactive problem solver strong stakeholder management and communication ability to lead architecture discussions across technical and non-technical teams
